It’s Hannah here, making my first blog debut, and we’re talking all things self- care for a joyful spring '25!

Hello, lovelies!

A lot of you will probably be like me -we’ve made it to spring! It feels like a celebration to know that the winter months are behind us (hopefully) and brighter days are ahead. With a heart full of gratitude for the season of spring, I thought we could talk a little bit about taking time to care for ourselves while the trees show off their new leaves. Consider this your reminder to take a bit of time to make yourself feel good!

I’m going to talk a little about my self-care practices and the things I’m incorporating into my routine to show myself some extra love.

Let’s talk skin food


Fuelling your body to move with the seasons is so important. As I’m sure you know, a car isn’t going to get far without fuel—we work just the same! I always think of a quote taken from Emily English’s book So Good about how the more colourful your plate is, the better!

I’ve been trying to incorporate more colours into my diet recently, especially greens, to ensure I have sustained energy throughout the day. To keep things vibrant and vitamin-rich, I’ve started using Jade & Joy’s Super Greens Blend. I almost see it as a little health hack—getting all my goodness in a drink! But I’m still trying my best to build rainbow plates… because they just look so pretty!

Tidy ANYTHING, tidy mind

My partner will laugh at me for this one (Ryan, if you’re reading—hi!), but this really is an impactful activity.

My bedroom, at the best of times, reflects my life… BUSY! And that’s busy in the best way possible. But it’s always important to restore law and order, and we can all agree that a deep clean feels so good!

We all have that ONE drawer—you know, the one full of random bits and bobs. Cotton buds, old earphones, a keyring from Tenerife 2011… SORT IT!

You’ve heard of spring cleaning, and this is your gentle reminder (yes, there have been a few of them in this blog!) to tidy your space to tidy your mind. Whether it’s your bedroom, office, car, or another space you spend a lot of time in, a little refresh never hurts!

Let’s talk about connecting with the season through YOGA

Recently, I made the decision to return to a much-loved practice of mine… yoga!

While I love the social side of spending time at @mulayogauk, yoga itself can harness seasonal energy and massively boost our well-being. Spring is all about renewal and growth—the Earth’s season of awakening! Yoga flows embrace the body’s natural need to move and in alignment with the changing seasons, awaken our bodies energy.

A round of my favourite sun salutations can activate circulation, increasing blood flow, oxygen, and prana (that means life force energy) throughout the body. The rhythmic flow of breath and movement also stimulates the nervous system and balances the endocrine system, boosting alertness, focus, and ultimately makes you feel AMAZING!

Let’s talk HOT GIRL WALKS

To me, sunshine is an invitation to get outside and move our bodies.

I’m personally not someone who tracks my steps, but I know how good I feel when I make time to walk (and do a lot of talking!) Public service announcement… walking is FREE! And walking with loved ones is an added bonus. In fact, I believe it’s something we should romanticise—just like going for a coffee and a catch-up (and a cake).

Since I feel so passionately about this, I actually created an event in my local area for exactly this reason. When I’m not with creating content and hosting TikTok live’s Jade & Joy, I’m spreading joy on my creator account on Instagram and TikTok, @lovebeanielou, where you’ll hear all about my HOT GIRL WALK!

Bringing women together in my local community, I’ve been scheduling sunshine strolls with the girls, and honestly? I’ve been so overwhelmed by the response and the excitement for a community gathering like this for women! So, what’s stopping you? Get your loved ones together, get a stomp on under the sun, and put the world to rights! Or hey, why not join me? The vibes are IMMACULATE.

Spring clean your skincare routine!

That cleanser you’re using daily… how long have you been using it?

I only learned last year about the little symbol on the back of our skincare products—it turns out they actually have use-by dates… yikes! (yes, I see you running to google, but make sure to come back and read the rest!) Just like our spring clean chat, your skin care routine products might need a bit of a refresher,
too!



As spring brings warmer temperatures, increased humidity, and more sun exposure, this is your friendly reminder to use SPF! Now listen, it’s important to practice what you preach, and I can be a little lazy with my skincare routine at times… but I will never skip my sun protection, and you shouldn’t either! Get it slapped on, guys.

Are you Journaling or out?

I could talk about the benefits of journalling until the end of time, but I get that some people see it as a chore… but it doesn’t have to be! It’s a practice that leaves you in total control—a way to check in with yourself which is arguably the most important interaction of all!

There are so many structured journals out there, but personally, I love a cute hardback notebook with endless free-writing space. I reconnect with my inner child, writing about my day, the interactions I’ve had, and the different moods I’ve felt.

Journalling is my emotional release, a space to celebrate small wins, show gratitude, and just let go.
