The most refreshing breakfast smoothie to help kick start your day!
This nutritiously packed smoothie will have you feeling energised & satisfied every morning.
I first came across this super simple smoothie recipe when I was working at a Café at the age of 15! (I’m now 28 so I’ve really been making it for a long time). We had a choice of 2 smoothies, one a bit more zesty and zingy, the other more creamy & with a slight sweetness. I loved both but always found myself going back to the second option, its super easy to drink and that perfect amount of sweetness to enjoy everyday!
Since starting at Jade & Joy I tried adding the different powders to my favourite smoothie and landed on Energy Burst being the perfect addition because of its Mango & Passionfruit flavour.
There’s also so many thing you can add to this smoothie to make it more filling / more of a breakfast style smoothie like oats, chia seeds or anything else your heart desires!
Ingredients
Method
- Peel & break a Banana in half and chuck it into your blender
- You can measure out a cup of frozen Mango or just guess it by hand which is honestly what I do.
- 1 handful of spinach and squish it on down, no need to tear it up.
- 2 Teaspoons of Energy Burst straight in (you don’t need to mix it into water first)
- Fill up with Oat Milk, as suggested just use as much as you want for the consistency.
As I mentioned above you could always add some oats into this smoothie for an extra filling drink, or leave it as it is! Either way I think it’s such a yummy and simple smoothie to kickstart your day!
